Deslocação no solo na 1ª infância: estudo exploratório

Com o presente estudo pretendeu-se analisar a diversidade de modos de deslocação no solo na 1ª infância e interação com constrangimentos de contexto. Mães e pais (N= 52) responderam a um questionário fechado pictórico. Foram identificados 20 modos de deslocação no solo distintos, com uma média de 3,04(±3,33) por criança. As que foram incentivadas a andar sem recurso a aranha também foram as que revelaram mais modos de deslocar-se no solo. Mais avançada a posição na fratria, sem uso de aranha, mais cedo a idade de início de deslocação no solo. Assim, há uma grande diversidade de modos de deslocação no solo, e cada criança pode recorrer a mais que um. Logo, a
diversidade motora auto-organizada é já evidente na 1ª infância, sendo potenciada por uma posição na fratria mais avançada e inibida pelo uso de aranha.
The present study aimed to analyze the diversity of modes of movement on the ground (commonly named as crawling) in early childhood and interaction with context constraints, through a closed pictorial questionnaire for mothers and fathers (N = 52). Twenty different modes of travel on the ground were identified, with an average of 3.04 (±3.33) per child. Children who were encouraged to walk without using the spider were also those that revealed more ways to move around on the ground. The more advanced the position in the fratry, without the use of a spider, the earlier the age of onset of displacement in the ground. Thus, there is a great diversity of modes of travel on the ground, and each child can use more than one. Therefore, the self-organized motor diversity is already evident in early childhood, being enhanced by a more advanced fratry position and inhibited by the use of the spider.
