Pretende-se refletir o desempenho da docência no ensino superior, tendo em conta a sua
diversidade e complexidade, reconhecendo as competências transversais comuns às várias
áreas do saber. Privilegiando a dimensão pedagógico-didática relativamente aos seguintes
aspetos: motivação e aprendizagem; apoio tutorial no ensino superior; promoção de uma
atitude ativa do/as estudantes na construção do seu desenvolvimento profissional;
construção/utilização de instrumentos de (auto)avaliação das práticas docentes. Este artigo
apresenta o ponto de partida de um trabalho que pretendemos desenvolver como linha de
pesquisa- intervenção no Instituto Politécnico de Santarém.2
It is intended to reflect the performance of teaching in higher education, taking into account their diversity and complexity, recognizing the transversal skills common to several areas of knowledge. Privileging the pedagogical-didactic dimension in relation to the following aspects: motivation and learning; tutorial support in higher education; promoting an active attitude of the students in building their professional development; construction/use of instruments of (self) evaluation of teaching practices.
