Abstract(s)
A presente
a riscos sociais. Serão ainda discutidas repercussões do envolvimento em
comportamentos de bullying e de cyberbullying.
Much has been known about bullying, its characteristics, different types of behavior, biopsychosocial implications, the roles played by students, among others. More recently, with the technological evolution and proliferation of digital devices, we become more aware of a new and disturbing manifestation of bullying behaviors, commonly known as cyberbullying. With this presentation, we aim to characterize, differentiate and compare both phenomena, framing cyberbullying in a new and different way of communication, so typical of this new generation of digital natives. This differentiation is based on the characteristics of communication mediated by screens, so different from other forms of communication face to face, whose implications are often associated with social risks. We will also discuss the repercussions of involvement in bullying and cyberbullying behaviors.
