Abstract(s)
O presente relatório desenvolvido contempla as três práticas supervisionadas que
decorreram ao longo dos três semestres de mestrado. Perante as três práticas supervisionadas
realizadas em diferentes contextos (Jardim de infância, 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Creche),
emergiu a questão de investigativa, tendo como temática a avaliação na educação pré-escolar.
Perante a temática em causa, foi realizada uma investigação qualitativa, optando como técnica
de recolha de dados, pela entrevista no contexto focus de group. Os focus group, foram
organizados por Jardim de Infância. Assim em cada um dos três jardins de infância três
educadoras foram entrevistadas.
Através da análise das entrevistas foi possível refletir e confrontar os resultados com a
fundamentação teórica enriquecendo o meu conhecimento sobre a temática em causa. Com os
resultados foi visível que os docentes procedem à avaliação das crianças focando-se em todo
o processo e não nos resultados. Para além do referido, a avaliação ajuda-os a planificar bem
como a adequar estratégias.
Como término deste relatório e de forma a refletir sobre todo o processo foi elaborada
uma reflexão final.
The following report contemplates the three supervised exercises that took place throughout three semesters during the master’s program. While facing these supervised practices, that took place in different contexts (Kindergarten, 1st Cycle of Basic Teaching and Nursery/Day Care), an investigative question emerged and whose theme was the evaluation in preschool education. Once the investigative guidelines were established, the collected date would be quality based and the information obtained during a series of interviews in a focus group context. These focus groups were created by the kindergartens and thus, in every one of the three kindergartens, three educators were interviewed. Through the analysis of each of these interviews it was possible to reflect on and confront the results with the theoretical fundamentation which ultimately led to an increased understanding and enrichment of the knowledge I possessed on the evaluation in preschool education. The results showed that teachers effectively evaluate children based almost entirely on their learning process as a whole up to, and not exclusively, on the end result. In addition the previously stated, the evaluation based on process and not exclusively on outcome also helped the teachers adapt and plan their teaching strategies. The final pages of this report will contain a final reflection on the entire process developed throughout this essay.
