A pesquisa aborda a avaliação de desempenho funcional aplicada à Diretoria de Educação
a Distância – DEaD do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Brasília –
IFB. Tem por objetivo a construção do regramento e a instrumentalização do processo de
avaliação de desempenho dos colaboradores junto àquela Diretoria. Refere-se,
metodologicamente, à pesquisa de natureza aplicada e exploratória. Há características da
pesquisa-ação. Quanto à forma de abordagem, fez-se uso da investigação qualitativa com
uso do focus group como técnica de recolha de dados. Foi elaborado o Manual de Avaliação
de Desempenho Funcional contendo objetivos e finalidades, diretrizes, metodologia, fatores
e critérios de avaliação de acordo com as funções existentes. A análise dos dados
demonstrou os resultados da aplicação do instrumento de avaliação, os quais evidenciaram
o êxito da avaliação de desempenho, na sua fase experimental, ao caracterizar uma equipe
de alto desempenho formada por membros, em sua maioria, de alto rendimento.
The research addresses the functional performance assessment applied to the Distance Education Directorate - DEaD of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Brasília - IFB. It aims to propose rules and instrumentalize the process of evaluating the performance of employees within that directorate. Methodologically, it made use of applied and exploratory research*, with* characteristics of action research. Qualitative research was developed using the focus group as a data collection technique. The Functional Performance Evaluation Manual was prepared containing objectives and purposes, guidelines, methodology, factors and evaluation criteria according to the existing roles. The data analysis demonstrated the results of the application of the evaluation instrument, which evidenced the success of the performance evaluation, in its experimental phase, by characterizing a high performance team formed , mostly, by members of high performance.
