Abstract(s)
Com este trabalho pretende-se realizar um estudo sobre a implementação do
Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória (PASEO), tendo por base a
realidade desta problemática numa escola secundária, no que diz respeito à informação
e conceção que o corpo docente e os discentes têm sobre o tema.
Deseja-se perceber a realidade da escola em estudo, uma escola secundária do
distrito de Santarém, no que concerne à visão e implementação do PASEO. utiliza-se
uma abordagem metodológica de natureza descritiva e interpretativa com um design de
estudo de caso. Os dados foram recolhidos através de entrevistas aos vários agentes
educativos considerados relevantes para o presente estudo, Diretor da escola, Diretores
de Turma e alunos.
Os resultados evidenciam que, relativamente ao conhecimento do documento
em questão, este não é algo novo para todos os entrevistados, apesar de alguns alunos
não o terem lido ou o conheçam apenas de uma forma superficial. Os Diretores de
Turma e o Diretor da Escola mostram-se conscientes dos tempos de mudança que a
sociedade atravessa e que a escola pública está a enfrentar, apesar de alguns
afirmarem que a escola atual ainda é muito semelhante à do passado. Os Diretores de
Turma também sentem necessidade de introduzir na prática letiva atividades
motivadoras que contribuam para um crescimento autónomo e responsável dos alunos,
cujo foco se prende com a alteração de estratégias mais motivadoras que lhes permitam
o desenvolvimento de uma cidadania ativa.
With this work we intend to carry out a study on the implementation of the Profile of Students Leaving Compulsory Schooling (PASEO), based on the reality of this problem in a secondary school, regarding the information and conception that the teaching staff and students have on the topic. The aim is to understand the reality of the school under study, a secondary school in the district of Santarém, regarding the vision and implementation of PASEO. a methodological approach of a descriptive and interpretative nature is used with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with various educational agents considered relevant to the present study, School Director, Class Directors, and students. The results show that, regarding knowledge of the document in question, it is not something new for all interviewees, although some students have not read it or know it only superficially. The Class Directors and the School Director are aware of the changing times that society is going through and that public schools are facing, despite some claiming that the current school is still very similar to that of the past. Class Directors also feel the need to introduce motivating activities into teaching practice that contribute to the autonomous and responsible growth of students, whose focus is on changing more motivating strategies that allow them to develop active citizenship.
