Abstract(s)
do 1.º CEB e 3.º ano do 1.º CEB.
caracter misto, pois apresenta metodologias qualitativas e quantitativas, possuindo
The final internship report was prepared with the purpose of obtaining a Master’s Degree in Pre-School Education and Elementary School Education. It is a report of informative and investigative nature that presents primarily practices carried out within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practices within the curriculum in four contexts: Nursery, Kindergarten, 2nd year of 1st CEB, and 3rd year of 1st CEB. The second part is based on research focused on the theme of “ The influence motivation has on the teachings of children in Pre-School and Elementary School” with the understanding that it is of mixed nature as it presents qualitative and quantitative methodologies which includes as instruments of data collection: semi-structured interviews with three Kindergarten educators and two Elementary School teachers, and surveys collected from older kindergarten children and children in the 3rd and 4th grade. The results obtained in the research and investigation demonstrate that motivated children reveal more significant learning, that the interests enhance motivation, that it is important for teachers to identify strategies, and that they utilize resources that are of interest to its group of children, so that they can focus their attention to subsequently carry out the tasks with pleasure and willingness to learn. To present the factors that influence motivation, from the perspective of the educators and teachers, reflects on the role of the teachers in promoting motivation in the children as well as on the environment and on the organization of the classroom to promote motivation.
