O presente relatório de estágio integra a fase final da conclusão do Mestrado em Educação
Pré-Escolar e centra-se na descrição e reflexão da intervenção desenvolvida no
contexto de prática de ensino supervisionada nas valências de creche e de jardim de
infância, bem como na componente investigativa que decorre da prática pedagógica,
seguindo o tema de “Desafios Matemáticos com materiais manipuláveis no Pré- Escolar:
Análise de uma intervenção”.
O objetivo principal deste relatório é o de analisar numa estratégia de intervenção a
importância da existência de materiais manipuláveis, bem como a presença de desafios
com que as crianças pudessem explorar e adquirir competências em matemática.
Traduz-se num projeto investigativo, dividido em duas partes distintas: numa primeira
fase encontra-se o trajeto realizado ao longo dos estágios e numa segunda parte é
apresentado e desenvolvido a componente empírica e investigativa associada à prática
pedagógica que se pretendeu estudar.
Os resultados obtidos revelam que as estratégias utilizadas para a aquisição e desenvolvimento
destas competências estão relacionadas com o processo de aprendizagem,
bem como a sua influencia é uma presença constante. A importância atribuída à
matemática é também uma factor a ter em consideração e a sua valorização deve ser
feita de forma consciente e precisa.
A utilização e manipulação de materiais são também outro fator que se revelou relevante
para suscitação do interesse por parte das crianças para a sua exploração.
This internship report integrates the final phase of the completion of the master’s degree in Preschool Education and focuses on the reflection of the intervention description developed in the context of supervised teaching practice in the skills of nursery school and kindergarten, as well as the investigative component that arises from the pedagogical practice, following the theme of “Mathematical Challenges in preschool: an intervention analysis”. The main objective of this report is to analyse the intervention strategy the importance of manipulable materials, as the presence of challenges facing the children could explore and acquire skills in mathematics. Reflecting in this investigative process, divided into two distinct parts: a first step is the course held over the stages and in a second part is introduced and developed the empirical and research component linked to the practice pedagogical to study. The results obtained can show that the strategies used for acquisition and development of these skills that are related to the learning process, your influence is a constant presence. The importance assigned to mathematics is also a factor to be into account and your valuation must be made consciously and precisely. The use and handling of mate- rials are also another factor revealed relevant to the motivating of the interest on the part children to his holding.
