dc.description.abstractO presente relatório serve como uma reflexão do trabalho desenvolvido durante os estágios em 1º e 2º Ciclos segundo as Unidades Curriculares de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. A investigação foi apoiada numa metodologia de natureza qualitativa e incidiu no estudo da relação entre a Matemática e o cálculo mental no quotidiano dos alunos do 2º Ciclo. No estudo participaram os 30 alunos de uma turma. Os dados apresentados resultam da análise de um questionário aplicado aos 30 participantes e de três entrevistas individuais de entre os participantes no questionário. Os resultados demonstram que os participantes têm a perceção da presença da Matemática no seu quotidiano e que, por vezes, inconscientemente, utilizam o cálculo mental em algumas situações.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis report serves as a reflection of the work developed during the 1st and 2nd Cycle teacher internships according to the curricular guidelines of the courses of Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master’s Program in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and of Mathematics and Sciences in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. The research focused on the study of the relationship between Mathematics and the mental calculation and the everyday of students of the 2nd cycle, particularly in students’ perception of the presence of Mathematics and the use of mental calculations in everyday life. This research was based on a qualitative methodology and the data presented are the result of the teacher practice. The results achieved show that participants in the study have the perception of the presence of Mathematics in their everyday life and sometimes, unconsciously, they use mental calculation in situations of their daily lives.pt_PT
