O estágio realizado na Benedita Sport Club Natação está inserido no âmbito do Mestrado em
Treino Desportivo da Escola Superior de Rio Maior, sendo este centrado na formação de
jovens atletas num contexto pré-laboral, tendo desempenhado na equipa o papel de treinador
adjunto dos Juvenis, numa primeira fase, passando depois por treinar de uma forma continua,
dois nadadores com dificuldades técnicas nos quatro estilos de nado.
O relatório de estágio está dividido por fases: (i) em que a primeira fase incide sobre o
enquadramento geral da natação em Portugal como também na Austrália e no Canadá; (ii) a
segunda fase ilustra um conjunto de formações essenciais para poder treinar uma equipa de
natação; (iii) a terceira fase passa por dar a conhecer o trabalho desenvolvido durante a
intervenção no local de estágio (Benedita Sport Club de Natação) nomeadamente, os recursos
humanos e materiais existentes como também a caraterização a equipa da natação; (iv) a
quarta fase incide sobre a performance desportiva dos nadadores, enquanto a (v) quinta fase
incide aspetos essenciais numa prova de natação, nomeadamente o tempo de reação, a
viragem de nado e o nado propriamente dito. Por fim a última fase tem como finalidade mostrar
os resultados obtidos nos vários questionários que os nadadores da Benedita Sport Club
Natação realizaram.
The internship at the Benedita Sport Club Natação is part of the Masters Degree in Sports Training of the Higher School of Rio Maior, focused on the training of young athletes in a pre-employment context, having played in the team the assistant coach of Juveniles, In a first phase, then after to train in a continuous way, two swimmers with technical difficulties in the four swimming styles. The traineeship report is divided into phases: (i) where the first phase focuses on the general swimming environment in Portugal as well as in Australia and Canada; (Ii) the second phase illustrates a set of formations essential for training a swim team; (Iii) the third stage is to make known the work developed during the intervention at the internship site (Benedita Sport Club de Natação) namely, the existing human and material resources as well as the characterization of the swimming team; (Iv) the fourth phase focuses on the swimmers' sporting performance, while the fifth phase (v) focuses on essential aspects in a swimming event, such as reaction time, swimming stroke and swim. Finally, the last phase aims to show the results obtained in the various questionnaires that swimmers from Benedita Sport Club Natação performed.
