| dc.description.abstract | A maioria dos estudos disponíveis sobre o ensino do Português não toma a figura do respectivo professor como objecto principal de reflexão e de análise. Partindo da premissa de que há uma relação estreita entre qualidade docente e resultados escolares, a par de evidências como os níveis de iliteracia dos alunos, justifica-se uma investigação sobre como poderá ser “bom professor de Português”, que contribua para a construção de um quadro epistemológico de referência. Tendo em conta que tal “quadro epistemológico” é, certamente, complexo, construído em matizes do tempo histórico e nas interpretações que os agentes sociais vão traçando, não sendo expectável encontrar balizas nítidas, procurar-se-ão aproximações ao conceito através da problematização de representações sociais. As representações sociais são processos de cognição social e, nessa medida, permitem (re)conhecer os papéis que agentes sociais representam em interacção. - The majority of available research about portuguese teaching does not have teachers as the main focus for reflection and analyses. Knowing about the relationship between the quality of teachers and students’ scholary results, and keeping in mind students’ levels of illiteracy, we defend research of “the good portuguese teacher”, which contributes to an epistemiological board of reference. This is certainly a difficult task, particularly because of interpretations that social agents keep drawing, and it is not expected to find clear goals. Therefore, we look for conceptual approaches through the rationalisation of social representations. Social representations are processes of social cognition, therefore, allow us to (re)identify the roles that social agents perform when they are interacting. | por |
