Abstract(s)
A primeira parte
This report occurred under the Master’s in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and of Mathematics and Nature Sciences of the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education of the Higher School of Education of Santarem and is organised in two sections. The first part contemplates the reflection of the path taken during the supervised teaching practices in the 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education. The second part focuses on the research, characterized as mixed investigation on the practice itself, whose objective was to understand in which ways the initiatives with STSE orientation and/or of activism in regards to the animal welfare can contribute to the critical and participative citizenship in 1st and 2nd cycles students. This study involved 50 students (of both cycles). The data obtained through questionnaires, field notes and documentary analysis allowed to verify the development of activism skills in relation to the problem, namely, analytical, dialectic and cooperation skills.
