Abstract(s)
The development of Augmented Reality (AR) technology has made it a tool that facilitates the teaching-learning process, helping students to improve their ability to visualize two- and three-dimensional spaces and leading them to learn by building. The present study is part of the problem of the influence of the implementation of teaching strategies using AR technology on the motivation and involvement of students for the learning of mathematics. Thus, it seeks to understand the impact of these innovative teaching strategies on mathematics learning, using the construction of solids in the GeoGebra 3D application, with AR, integrated in learning scenarios on the content volumes and surface areas of geometric solids, applied to students in the 8th and 9th year of Basic Education. The analysis of the results allowed us to verify the increase in the motivation and involvement of the students when using strategies with AR, but it was not very conclusive regarding the improvement of their learning.
