Abstract(s)
referência relevante no momento do acolhimento.

This report is divided into two parts: the characterization of what has been carried out and the investigative exercise on the theme “Welcoming in transition períods – from pre-scholl to 1st Cycle”. It is known that the role of the educator in the nursery and Kindergarten (JI) and of the teacher in the 1st Cycle, is fundamental in the daily lives of children, as they constitute a relevant reference figure at the time of reception. This study sought to analyze the strategies used by educators and teachers, as well as the experiences and feelings of children during this transition. Likewise, parents' perceptions of their children were investigated. This investigation is an exploratory and qualitative case study, and the data collection instrument used was the interview. The sample consisted of twenty participants: educators, teachers, 1st cycle students and guardians. Through this study, it was concluded that the teachers value the moment of transition and develop strategies to facilitate it. On the other hand, some parents mention that they feel no effort from the educational contexts to help in this process and the children report feeling some fear, anxiety and nervousness when knowing that they are going to attend school.
