Abstract(s)
A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar como é feita a gestão dos resultados finais relativos ao rendimento escolar em um Instituto Federal Brasileiro, desenvolver e analisar as potencialidades de um programa/software e verificar se as informações apresentadas por este software estavam em conformidade com as informações que os gestores detinham.
Essa pesquisa foi, na fase final, essencialmente de natureza qualitativa, com a realização de análise de conteúdo implicando a construção de categorias e subcategorias. A recolha dos dados teve por base a realização de inquérito por entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os participantes neste estudo foram vários gestores com diferentes funções na instituição.
A partir dos resultados constatou-se que a instituição não apresenta um processo unificado para gestão dos dados ou local único de consulta para obter informações sobre rendimento escolar. Foi ainda confirmada a potencialidade do software desenvolvido por gerar informações úteis para a gestão.
Por fim, foi proposto um projeto de intervenção para melhorar o software desenvolvido como essencial no suporte à gestão educacional.
The present research had as objective to identify how the management of the final results related to school performance in a Brazilian Federal Institute, to develop and analyze the potential of a program / software and to verify if the information presented by this software was in conformity with the information that the managers had. This research was, in the final phase, essentially of a qualitative nature, with the accomplishment of analysis of content implying the construction of categories and subcategories. Data collection was based on semi-structured interviews. The participants in this study were several managers with different functions in the institution. From the results it was verified that the institution does not present a unified process for data management or single place of consultation to obtain information about school performance. It also confirmed the potential of software developed by generating information useful for management. Finally, an intervention project was proposed to improve software developed as essential in supporting educational management.
