| dc.description.abstract | O presente relatório de estágio foi elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo e do 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, realizado na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Santarém. O relatório apresenta-se dividido em duas partes. A parte I respeita às experiências e reflexão proporcionadas pelas Práticas de Ensino Supervisionadas, no 1.º ciclo do ensino básico e em Português, História e Geografia de Portugal, Matemática e Ciências Naturais do 2.º ciclo do ensino básico. Além disso, apresenta como surge a temática do estudo que é apresentado na parte II, centrado no ensino da Matemática. Esse estudo tem como objetivo identificar a compreensão e as dificuldades que os alunos manifestam na determinação do perímetro e da área das figuras no plano em situações que envolvem materiais manipuláveis. Segue uma metodologia qualitativa na modalidade de estudo de caso e tem por base a realização de duas tarefas com materiais manipuláveis, geoplano e pentaminós, com alunos de 6.º ano. Alguns alunos manifestaram dificuldades na reprodução de figuras no papel ponteado ou quadriculado e alguns revelaram confundir a fórmula de cálculo da área e do perímetro. Os dados revelam que os materiais contribuíram para clarificar os conceitos de perímetro e área e fazer surgir diferentes figuras que permitem explorar situações diversificadas da determinação do seu perímetro e da sua área. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This internship report was prepared under the teaching master of the elementary and high school levels guidance’s held at the School of Education on the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. The report is presented in two parts. Part I focuses on the experiences and reflections offered by Supervised Practice Teaching, on the elementary level and in Portuguese, History and Geography of Portugal, Mathematics and Natural Sciences on the high school level. Moreover, features like the theme of the study are shown in Part II, centered on teaching of mathematics. This study aims to identify and understand the difficulties that students manifest in determining the perimeter and area of plane figures in situations that involve handleable materials. The methodology is qualitative in nature and is in the form of case study. Furthermore, this study is based on the completion of two tasks with handleable materials, geoboards and pentominos, and was caried out in a 6th year turm students. Some students expressed difficulties in reproducing figures in dotted or checkered paper and some revealed to confuse the formula to calculate the area and perimeter. The data reveal that the materials helped clarify the concepts of perimeter and area and make different figures exploiting different situations of determining their perimeter and their area. | pt_PT |
