dc.description.abstractOs indivíduos transgénero desejam muitas vezes a paternidade e podem efetivamente experienciar a gravidez, parto e puerpério, torna-se por isso premente compreender esta nova realidade emergente e saber se os profissionais de saúde, nomeadamente se os EEESMO, se encontram capacitados para prestar cuidados de qualidade de forma individualizada, adequada e inclusiva a estes indivíduos. Realizou-se uma Scoping Review, segundo a metodologia Joanna Briggs Institute e partindo da questão “Quais são as evidências na área da saúde sobre o cuidar do homem transgénero durante a conceção, gravidez, parto e puerpério?”. Da pesquisa efetuada na plataforma EBSCO – Host, foram selecionados quatro artigos, que foram posteriormente analisados. Os resultados ilustram que existem muito pouca informação científica acerca da saúde reprodutiva dos homens transgénero e que é necessária mais investigação no que diz respeito aos cuidados de enfermagem prestados aos homens transgénero durante a conceção, gravidez, parto e puerpério.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractTransgender individuals often desire paternity and can effectively experience pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium, it is therefore urgent to understand if this new emerging reality and whether health professionals, particularly if EEEMO, are able to provide quality care in an individualized, appropriate and inclusive way for these individuals. A Scoping Review was carried out, according to the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and starting from the question “What is the evidence in the health area on the care of transgender men during conception, pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium?”. From the research carried out on the EBSCO – Host platform, four articles were selected, which were later analyzed. The results illustrate that there is very little scientific information about the reproductive health of transgender men and that more research is needed with regard to the nursing care provided to transgender men during conception, pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium.pt_PT
