Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e Ensino do 1ºCiclo do Ensino Básica da Escola Superior de Educação de Santarém. Este relatório encontra-se dividido em duas grandes partes: A primeira parte contém a descrição de cada um dos estágios efetuados nas valências do pré-escolar e do 1ºciclo do ensino básico. A segunda parte inclui o processo investigativo efetuado para responder à problemática selecionada. Assim sendo, esta duas seções do trabalho cruzam-se e relacionam-se entre si.
A investigação diz respeito à comunicação não-verbal na profissão docente e à importância e ao impacto desta no exercício da profissão, tanto na relação pedagógica como no desenvolvimento de competências por parte das crianças. Este estudo teve a participação de uma educadora e de uma professora primária e dos seus respetivos grupos de crianças, sendo a recolha de dados realizada através da observação e análise de cada um dos contextos e de entrevistas às profissionais.

This report is the final work of the Master's Degree in Pre-school and Elementary Education that took place in Escola Superior de Educação de Santarém. The first part contains a description of the supervised teaching practices in pre-school and elementary school. The second part includes the investigative process carried out to respond to the problem selected for the research, which is about the nonverbal comunication of the professionals in their classrooms. This research was developed during the internships, therefore the two sections are related to each other. The main purpose of the research is to understand how theachers use their nonverbal comunication skills inside their classsrooms and the importance of that use in the pedagogic relationships established between students and professionals as well as in learning sucess. This research had the participation of two education professionals and their groups of children. The collection of data was made through the observation of the two contexts and throught interviews. Crossing the information obtained alows better analysis and conclusions. Keywords: Nonverbal communication, body language, pedagogical relationship.
