Esta dissertação de Mestrado em Educação Social e Intervenção Comunitária, do Instituto
Politécnico de Santarém, refere-se a uma pesquisa realizada com os alunos beneficiários da Política
de Assistência Estudantil do Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB). A Política de Assistência Estudantil
do IFB foi instituída após a promulgação do Decreto que regulamentou o Programa Nacional de
Assistência Estudantil, abrangendo os Institutos Federais. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar
a Política de Assistência Estudantil do IFB na perspectiva dos alunos beneficiários, analisando
como eles percebem e avaliam essa política e os reflexos que o recebimento dos benefícios causam
em suas vidas acadêmica e pessoal. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de metodologia mista e como técnica
de coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionário semiestruturado, que foi aplicado aos estudantes
bolsistas. Nos resultados desta pesquisa observou-se, que na percepção dos alunos beneficiários da
Política de Assistência Estudantil do IFB, os benefícios recebidos causam reflexos positivos tanto
na vida acadêmica quanto na vida pessoal dos alunos.
This Master's Dissertation in Social Education and Community Intervention, from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, refers to a research carried out with the students benefiting from the Student Assistance Policy of the Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB). The IFB Student Assistance Policy was instituted after the promulgation of the Decree that regulated the National Program of Student Assistance, covering the Federal Institutes. This research aimed to analyze the IFB Student Assistance Policy from the perspective of the beneficiary students, analyzing how they perceive and evaluate this policy and the reflexes that the receipt of the benefits cause in their academic and personal lives. It is a research of mixed methodology and as a technique of data collection a semistructured questionnaire was used, which was applied to the scholarship students. In the results of this research, it was observed that, in the perception of the students benefiting from the IFB's Student Assistance Policy, the benefits received have a positive impact on both the academic life and the students' personal lives.
