| dc.description.abstract | A ciência tem demonstrado, por antecipação, a crise ambiental profunda para a qual o Planeta tem sido arrastado nos últimos anos. A defesa do ambiente envolveu os cidadãos em todo o Planeta e Portugal não foi excepção a partir da criação da Liga para a Protecção da Natureza e outras organizações. Contrariamente ao que é comum, esse papel da ciência despoletou dinâmicas em torno de políticas e de movimentações sociais numa abertura à sociedade sem precedentes num quadro de envolvimento e responsabilização. - Science has demonstrated, by anticipation, the environmental crisis for which the planet has been dragged in the last years. Environmental defence has involved citizens throughout the Planet and Portugal was not exception through the birth of LPN-League for the Protection of Nature and other non-governmental organizations. In spite of what is usual that role that science has played was a breakthrough to dynamics relating politics and social movements, in an unprecedented overture to society in a framework on involvement and responsibility taking. | por |
