Abstract(s)
Este estudo busca verificar a contribuição da utilização dos resultados das avaliações
institucionais na elaboração de políticas para a educação superior, especificamente, para os
cursos de graduação de um Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia. O objetivo
geral desse estudo é investigar as relações entre o processo de avaliação institucional e o
planejamento das políticas para o ensino superior de graduação, tendo como referência o
ciclo do Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI) 2019-2023. A pesquisa é classificada
como estudo de caso, de caráter exploratório, utilizando-se de entrevistas, questionários e
análise documental como instrumentos de coleta e analisados sob a ótica da análise de
conteúdo, de Bardin. O público-alvo foi composto por gestores da reitoria e dos campi
envolvidos com o planejamento do ensino da instituição pesquisada e a tomada de decisão.
Os resultados encontrados apontam para uma relação ainda em fase inicial entre a avaliação
institucional e o planejamento de políticas para a graduação, carecendo de maiores
sistematizações e processos que garantam uma maior integração entre eles.
This study seeks to verify the contribution of using the results of institutional evaluations in the elaboration of policies for higher education, specifically for undergraduate courses at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology. The general objective of this study is to investigate the relationships between the institutional evaluation process and the planning of policies for undergraduate higher education, having as reference the cycle of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) 2019-2023. The research is classified as a case study, exploratory in nature, using interviews, questionnaires and document analysis as collection instruments and analyzed from the perspective of content analysis, by Bardin. The target audience consisted of managers from the rectory and campuses involved with the researched institution's teaching planning and decision-making. The results found point to a relationship that is still in its initial phase between institutional evaluation and policy planning for graduation, lacking greater systematization and processes that guarantee greater integration between them.
