Abstract(s)
A pandemia de COVID-19 determinou alterações significativas nas rotinas das famílias,
designadamente, a necessidade de uma adaptação radical e súbita na educação, em todos os
níveis de ensino. Docentes e estudantes viram-se impedidos de manter as suas rotinas,
interiorizadas durante os anos anteriores. Nesse sentido, houve a necessidade de promover a
transição, praticamente instantânea, de um ensino totalmente presencial para um ensino totalmente
a distância, com os inerentes constrangimentos. O trabalho que se apresenta pretende: a) mostrar
algumas das adaptações realizadas em unidades curriculares de cursos da Escola Superior Agrária
de Santarém; b) analisar o impacto, no sucesso escolar dos estudantes, com a adaptação do ensino
às plataformas digitais. A análise dos resultados permite destacar algumas das experiências
adquiridas durante o período a que o estudo reporta e mostrar não haver diferenças significativas
entre o desempenho dos estudantes no ensino presencial e o desempenho dos estudantes no
ensino a distância.
The COVID-19 pandemic set on significant changes in the families’ routines, namely, the need for a radical and sudden adaptation at all levels of education. Teachers and students were prevented from maintaining their well-known routines. In this sense, there was a need to promote the adjustment, practically instantaneous, from totally face-to-face teaching to a full distance teaching, with the inherent constraints. This study intended to: a) show some of the adaptations made in course units of the Escola Superior Agrária de Santarém; b) analyse the impact on students' academic success, with the adaptation of face-to-face teaching to digital platforms. The results highlight some of the experiences obtained during the period to which the study reports and show that there are no significant differences between the performance of students in classroom teaching and the performance of students in distance learning.
