Abstract(s)
O trabalho de projeto intitulado “A Contribuição dos Serviços Administrativos na melhoria
das instituições educativas” tem como objetivo central analisar o papel dos assistentes
técnicos na dinamização da vida escolar num locus empírico específico. Foram delineadas
questões subjacentes à investigação, no que diz respeito, à imagem e ao desempenho dos
serviços administrativos, à comunidade educativa, avaliando o serviço público prestado. No
que se refere à metodologia utilizamos métodos quantitativos (questionários aos docentes,
assistentes técnicos, alunos e encarregados de educação) e qualitativos (entrevista à
Diretora), considerados necessários à nossa investigação. A triangulação dos dados efetuada
permitiu constatar que a comunidade educativa do Agrupamento escolar em análise tem
confiança no trabalho desenvolvido pelos assistentes técnicos em prol desta, que existem
pontos a optimizar, nomeadamente à avaliação e ao trabalho em equipa. Foi proposto o
desenvolvimento de trabalho colaborativo, interajuda de todos os assistentes técnicos
participantes e liderança para promover a sua motivação e melhorar o serviço público prestado
no campo de administração educacional.
The central aim of the project entitled "The Contribution of Administrative Services to the Improvement of Educational Institutions" is to analyze the role of technical assistants in boosting school life in a specific empirical locus. The questions underlying the research were outlined with regard to the image and performance of the administrative services to the educational community, evaluating the public service provided. As far as methodology is concerned, we used quantitative methods (questionnaires to teachers, technical assistants, students and parents) and qualitative methods (interviews with the Director), which were deemed necessary for our research. The triangulation of the data made it possible to verify that the educational community of the school grouping under analysis has confidence in the work carried out by the technical assistants on its behalf, that there are points to be optimized, namely evaluation and teamwork. It was proposed that collaborative work be developed, that all the technical assistants involved work together and that leadership be provided in order to promote their motivation and improve the public service provided in the field of educational administration.
