Abstract(s)
A Educação STEM (Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matemática) visa apresentar
Enquanto a
no 1.º e 2.º Ciclos do Ensino Básico”.

This document is divided into two parts. The first focuses on the description and reflection of Supervised Teaching Practices in the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education. While the second alludes to the analysis of the ideas defended by the literature on the STEM approach and includes a study entitled “The STEM approach in teaching Science and Mathematics in the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education” is presented. The study follows a qualitative approach and seeks to understand how STEM activities contribute to students learning, namely in the teaching-learning process of Science and Mathematics. Data were collected through a questionnaire to the participants, two focus group interviews, one a priori and another after the implementation of the STEM activities and a documentary analysis of the students productions.
