Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho buscou identificar, sob a ótica dos egressos do curso de
tecnologia em secretariado, os fatores impactantes no processo de inserção
profissional suscetíveis de serem implementados e/ou aprimorados pela instituição de
ensino de forma a ampliar o acesso dos estudantes ao mundo do trabalho. Para tanto,
foi realizada uma pesquisa de natureza aplicada com objetivo descritivo e abordagem
quantitativa com os egressos. Os resultados indicaram que os egressos adentram o
mercado de trabalho ainda durante a educação básica, muito provavelmente por conta
das condições sociais, já que buscam ampliar suas oportunidades de colocação
profissional por meio do ingresso no curso superior. Os dados revelaram ainda que a
graduação é realizada em concomitância com o trabalho em atividades administrativas
e que, após a conclusão do curso, os egressos continuaram exercendo a mesma
atividade sem modificação na remuneração. Além disso, os participantes da pesquisa
acreditam que a sua remuneração está adequada com as atividades desenvolvidas e
se encontram satisfeitos em relação às atividades profissionais. Em relação ao curso,
os egressos mostram-se extremamente satisfeitos com a formação, considerando-o
fator importante para a melhoria da sua vida de forma geral. A partir dos resultados
obtidos, propõe-se que a instituição de ensino promova uma política de
acompanhamento com estudos transversais sobre o processo de inserção profissional
de seus egressos, a implementação de uma política de revisão do plano do curso de
forma a ampliar o domínios de língua estrangeira por parte dos estudantes e o
fortalecimento de uma política de estágio com maior proximidade com empresas da
área de secretariado de forma a ampliar as experiências desses alunos na área.
From the perspective of the graduates of the Technology Course in Secretarial Science, the present study sought to identify the impacting factors in the process of professional insertion that could be implemented or improved by the educational institution to expand students' access to the world of work. To this end, applied research was carried out with a descriptive objective and a quantitative approach involving the graduates. The results indicated that the graduates enter the job market while still in secondary education, most likely due to their social conditions since they seek to expand their opportunities of professional insertion through higher education. The data also revealed that the undergraduate studies are carried out concomitantly with work in administrative activities and that, after finishing the course, the graduates continued to perform the same activity without change in remuneration. Moreover, the research participants believe that their remuneration is adequate to the activities developed, and they are satisfied with their professional activities. Concerning the course, the graduates are extremely satisfied with the training, considering it essential for improving their lives in general. Based on our findings, we propose that the educational institution promote a follow-up policy with transversal studies about the process of professional insertion of its graduates, the implementation of a policy to review the course plan in order to expand the students' proficiency in foreign languages, and the strengthening of an internship policy with greater proximity to companies in the secretarial area in order to broaden the experiences of these students in the area.
