Abstract(s)
A intenção é avaliar, utilizando a revisão
A abordagem buscou
The present study had as a purpose investigating the use of Information and Communications Technologies as mediators on the family-student-school triad, considering the use of school follow up and monitoring applications. The intention is to assess, using the revision of the literature and an exploratory study, whether these applications contribute or not as facilitators of dialogue, rapprochement and strengthening the bonds within this triad. The methodology employed is the case study and involves qualitative research techniques, semi structured interviews. Eighteen interviews were conducted, distributed among eight students and their respective families, as well as both school’s directing boards investigated. The approach sought to capture perspectives from families, students and members of the school’s directing board. It was observed, through the analysis of the collected data, the importance and necessity of strengthening these bonds and the contribution to the education, safety and better academic results, given the need of having family support in daily academic activities, highlighting the active and fundamental school’s role in moderating, caring and sheltering. The conducted research further identified the necessity of composing resources and strategies aiming not only to establish collaboration among school and family, but also to permeate a bond of complicity and support for the students, respecting their individuality. The objective is to accompany them so as to allow their growth and development with autonomy and responsibility, assuring respect to their urges and boundaries. It strives to create an environment of empathy and support, and also simultaneously potentializes their abilities to achieve a healthy and extensive formation.
