ABSTRACT Psychological interventions undertaken in the context of a youth football team throughout the curricular internship had as main objective the development of psychological skills for athletes. The target population for these interventions was initially composed of 27 athletes aged between 15 and 17 years, although only 16 athletes stayed until the end of the internship. The development of this internship report seeks to convey the interventions made, their goals, results and reflect on the significant events that occurred during their execution. The results at the end of the interventions suggest an increase in every dimension assessed using the Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool (OMSAT) with the exception of some dimensions (commitment, fear control and refocusing). However, we only observed statistically significant differences to the reduction of the performance of athletes due to physical dangers or even psychological (fear control) and increasing competitive planning in relation to the initial assessment.
