| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo enquadra-se no âmbito da investigação em Intervenção Precoce (IP), e propõe-se analisar, a partir das referenciações rececionadas pela Equipa Local de Intervenção (ELI) de Pombal, Ansião e Alvaiázere, as opiniões dos participantes, na perspetiva de aferir a necessidade de melhorar ou ajustar práticas, tendo em conta o contexto do projeto. Pretendemos averiguar em particular a possível necessidade de melhorar algum procedimento no processo de referenciação, nomeadamente junto das principais entidades referenciadoras, permitindo uma melhoria nos critérios e qualidade de referenciação de crianças, bem como de perceber se os pedidos de apoio estão a chegar atempadamente para uma intervenção verdadeiramente precoce. No presente artigo elaborou-se um estudo de caso de natureza qualitativa com recurso à análise e tratamento de dados das referenciações de forma a adquirir um conhecimento aprofundado das idades, concelhos, entidades referenciadoras e critérios de elegibilidade das referenciações rececionadas pela equipa. Aplicou-se ainda um questionário, ao total dos 8 sujeitos participantes no estudo, para auscultar as suas opiniões sobre os resultados obtidos. Os resultados obtidos confirmam a falta de informação da comunidade geral sobre o serviço de IP, a discrepância das referenciações dos concelhos abrangidos pela ELI, acrescentando-se ainda a referenciação tardia das crianças a este serviço. Deste modo parece evidente a necessidade de sensibilização junto das entidades referenciadoras, relativamente aos critérios e identificação de necessidade de referenciação. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The framework of this study is the research in Early Childhood Intervention and it intends to analyse, through the references received by the Early Childhood Intervention Local Team (ELI) of Pombal, Ansião and Alvaiázere, the participants' opinions, in order to assess the need to improve or adjust practices, considering the background of the project. We intend particularly to determine the need, or not, to improve any procedure in the process of referencing, namely among the main entities referencing children, allowing an improvement in the criteria and quality of children referencing, as well as to understand if the Intervention requests are arriving in time to an effective early intervention. In this article a case study of qualitative nature was conducted using data analysis and treatment of the references in order to acquire a deep knowledge of the ages, municipalities, referencing entities and eligibility criteria of the references received by the team. A questionnaire was also administered to a total of 8 study participants, in order to know their opinions about the presented conclusions. The obtained results confirmed the lack of information from the general public about the Early Childhood Intervention service, the gap between the references of the municipalities covered by the ELI, adding also the late referencing of children to this service. Thus, it seems obvious that there is need to raise the referencing entities' awareness, concerning the criteria and identification of referencing need. | pt_PT |
