Abstract(s)
O relatório de estágio inserido no 2º ano do Mestrado em Psicologia do Desporto
e do Exercício, da Escola Superior de Desporto, do Instituto Politécnico de Santarém,
pretende apresentar o trabalho desenvolvido entre o mês de Setembro e Junho de 2013,
nas equipas de natação, dos escalões sénior, júnior e juvenil, do Benedita Sport Clube
de Natação.
O estágio teve como principal objetivo a integração na equipa técnica e a
definição e implementação de programas de treino de competências psicológicas
(PTCP), visando melhorar o rendimento desportivo dos atletas.
Segundo a avaliação inicial, centrada na observação, troca de ideias com a equipa
técnica e literatura subjacente às competências psicológicas importantes no contexto da
natação, selecionamos intervir nas seguintes temáticas: Ansiedade, Stress e Ativação,
Motivação e Autoconfiança, Atenção – Concentração. Foram realizados várias técnicas
e instrumentos de avaliação. Na avaliação das situações foram recolhidas informações
através de entrevistas de avaliação psicológica Estruturada baseada no guião de Gomes
(2008) e não estruturada, Observação direta do (atleta, treinador, pais e meio
envolvente) e Questionários de autopreenchimento, de competências específicas como:
OMSAT3R - (The Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool), CSAI-2 (Competitive State
Anxiety Inventory-2), TEOSQ (Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire),
IMIP – (Intrinsic Motivacion Inventory), TAIS – (Test of Attencional and
Interpersonal Style), TP – (Toulouse Piéron), (AEPDEN) – (Avaliação do Estagiário de
Psicologia do Desporto e do Exercício no contexto da Natação).
Comparando a avaliação inicial com a avaliação final, há a salientar o facto de ter
ficado interiorizadas algumas rotinas estabelecidas para que o treino mental continuasse
ao longo da participação desportiva dos atletas e, por outro lado, ter contribuído para a
melhoria da imagem do psicólogo no contexto do desporto de formação/competição, e
em particular numa performance focada no sucesso do atleta e do Clube.
Ainda, no âmbito do estágio, foi realizada uma conferência, com as temáticas ” a
correção postural durante a puberdade” e “ o envolvimento parental no contexto
desportivo” destinada a pais, atletas e comunidade em geral.
The report is inserted into the 2nd year of the master’s degree, of Sport and Exercise Psychology, from Higher School of Sport, Santarem’s Polytechnic Institute, intends to present the work carried out between September and June 2013, in swimming teams of different levels such as, senior, junior and infant Benedita’s Swimming Sport Club. The stage had the main objective, integrate the coaching staff, define and implement psychological skills, training programs (PSTP, to improve the athlete’s performance. According to the initial assessment, based on observation and exchange of ideas with the coaching staff, literature underlying to the swimming psychological skills, we decided to focus in themes with following key words: anxiety; stress; activation; motivation; self-confidence; attention; concentration. Were performed several techniques and review instruments. For evaluation were collected informations from interviews of psychological appraisal (Structured script-based - Gomes, 2008) and unstructured, in direct observation (athlete, coach, parents and environment) and Questionnaires, specific skills like: OMSAT3R-(The Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool), CSAI-2 (Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2), TEOSQ (Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire), IMIP-(Intrinsic Motivation Inventory)TAIS – (Test of Attencional and Interpersonal Style), TP – (Toulouse Piéron), (AEPDEN) – (trainee's Evaluation of sport and exercise Psychology in the context of swimming). Comparing initial assessment with final assessment, conclude that were taken measures to ensure that mental practice continued, it is helped to improving psychologist´s image in context of sport training/competition, particularly in a focus performance based on the athlete and Club success. Still, in this internship, a conference was held, with the themes "postural correction during puberty" and "parental involvement in the sporting context" aimed at parents, athletes and general community.
