no empoderamento feminino no pós-parto? Utilizaram-se bases de dados das
plataformas EBSCOhost e PubMed, tendo sido incluídos 30 artigos.
Physical exercise during pregnancy, adapted to the individual conditions of the woman and with adequate monitoring, brings benefits to maternal and foetal health and wellbeing. This internship report describes and reflects on the learning process in the acquisition and development of common and specific skills of the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing with a Master's Degree. A special interest in the area of physical activity made it pertinent to conduct a study on physical exercise as a tool for the empowerment and overall well-being of women in the postpartum period. In order to ensure evidence-based practice, a Scoping Review was conducted, according to the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute, in response to the question: What evidence is available on the influence of physical exercise during pregnancy on female empowerment in the postpartum period? Databases from the EBSCOhost and PubMed platforms were used, and 30 articles were included. The results indicate that an active pregnancy is a decisive factor for a positive postpartum period, favouring women's physical, emotional and social recovery. Physical exercise, combined with social support and health education, strengthens self-efficacy, autonomy and female empowerment, consolidating itself as an essential strategy for comprehensive well-being. The specialist nurse acts as a facilitator in supporting and counselling women during the transition processes of pregnancy and postpartum, empowering them to take control of their lives, make decisions about their health and the roles they assume, promoting positive experiences for women
