Esta síntese resulta do culminar de dois anos de trabalho realizado a partir da experiência vivenciada durante o meu percurso académico, focando os estágios realizados no âmbito do mestrado em Educação Pré-Escola e Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (CEB). Estes estágios fundamentaram o trabalho de pesquisa realizado sobre uma pesquisa sobre o tema dos Estereótipos, nomeadamente A influencia dos estereótipos de género e etnia na planificação e a organização do ambiente educativo de Educadores de Infância e Professores do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
O presente relatório está organizado em duas partes, uma direcionada para a apresentação do trabalho nos estágios curriculares de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1º CEB e a outra para o trabalho de pesquisa sobre a temática em questão e o estudo com docentes.
O estudo, de natureza qualitativa, foi concretizado a partir da realização de entrevistas a educadoras e professores com o objetivo de saber se os mesmos quando planificam e/ou organizam o seu ambiente educativo têm em consideração os estereótipos de género e de etnia.
O trabalho de pesquisa realizado permite concluir que os docentes entrevistados têm conceções muito semelhantes sobre o tema e, no geral, recorrem às mesmas estratégias quando sentem que é necessária a sua intervenção.
Considero que a presente pesquisa foi muito relevante para o meu futuro como profissional de educação.
This synthesis is a result of a two-year work, based on the experience I had during my academic career, focusing on the internships held in the Master's Program in Pre-School and Primary Education. These stages were the basis of the research work carried out on a research on the subject of Stereotypes, namely The influence of gender and ethnicity stereotypes in the planning and organization of the educational environment of Early Childhood Educators and Teachers of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. The report is organized in two parts, one directed to the presentation of the work in the curricular stages of the Master's in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st CEB and the other to the research work on the subject in question and the study with teachers. The qualitative study was carried out by conducting interviews with educators and teachers in order to know if they plan and/or organize their educational environment taking into account gender and ethnic stereotypes. The research that has been carried out allows us to conclude that the interviewed teachers have very similar concepts on the subject and, in general, use the same strategies when they feel that their intervention is necessary. I consider that the present research was very relevant to my future as an education professional.
