Abstract(s)
O presente estudo se situa no campo temático da Administração Educacional com foco nas
atividades desenvolvidas pelo pedagogo nos cursos da modalidade educação a distância
ofertados pelo Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB). Na Diretoria de Educação a Distância
(DEaD) do IFB, lócus desta pesquisa, o pedagogo compõe a equipe da coordenação
pedagógica e sua função é de orientador de ensino e aprendizagem (OEA). A função do
OEA foi recentemente implementada na estrutura da DEaD e tem a finalidade de
acompanhar, orientar e apoiar as atividades docentes. Considerando a centralidade do
trabalho pedagógico e a natureza singular e inovadora dessa função na EaD, a pesquisa
analisou a percepção do trabalho do OEA no âmbito da coordenação pedagógica dos
cursos ofertados pelo IFB, a partir da percepção desses profissionais e da equipe diretiva da
DEaD. Foi adotada a pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória a partir do estudo de caso, com
coleta de dados utilizando entrevista semiestruturada e o grupo focal. Recorreu-se à
ferramenta tecnológica Alceste (Análise Lexical Contextual de um Conjunto de Segmentos
de Texto) para subsidiar a análise do conteúdo dos dados. Os resultados apontam que
existe uma percepção positiva a respeito do trabalho do OEA na equipe multidisciplinar da
DEaD. Porém, há insatisfações, tanto da parte desse profissional quanto da equipe diretiva,
relacionadas à indefinição do papel do pedagogo na EaD e que implicam na limitação do
trabalho pedagógico a uma atividade técnica. A insatisfação dos OEA se manifesta como
falta de clareza do seu papel por parte da equipe diretiva da DEaD; limitação de suas
atividades ao nível técnico-operacional; percepção de que a gestão almeja um profissional
com formação em Pedagogia e Design Instrucional. Quanto à equipe diretiva a insatisfação
com o trabalho do OEA está relacionado a falta iniciativa e proatividade. Nesse sentido,
surgiu a proposta de um projeto interventivo de formação pedagógica em EaD para os
servidores que pretendem atuar em cursos a distância no âmbito do IFB. Essa formação
busca contribuir para o aprimoramento do trabalho pedagógico no contexto do trabalho
multidisciplinar no qual ele se desenvolve.
This Study is in the thematic field of Educational Administration, focusing on the activities developed by the educator in the distance education courses offered by Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB). In the Department of Distance Education (Diretoria de Educação a Distância - DEaD) of IFB, where the research took place, the educator is part of the education management team and is the advisor of teaching and learning (OEA, in Portuguese). OEA's function was recently implemented in the structure of DEaD, in order to monitor, guide and support teaching activities. Considering the importance of the educational work, and the innovative and unique nature of this function in distance education, the present research analysed the perception about OEA work in educational management of the courses offered by IFB, from the perspective of these professionals and of the management team of DEaD. It was a qualitative, explorative research in a Study Case, with data collection based on semistructured interview and focal group. ALCESTE (Contextual Lexical Analysis in Segments of Text Sets) technological tool was used to support the data content analysis. Results show there is a positive perception of OEA work in the multidisciplinary team of DEaD. Nevertheless, the OEA and management team are not fully satisfied due to lack of definition in the role of the OEA in distance education, which limits their work to a technical activity. OEA dissatisfaction is related to the management team not making his/ her role clear, his/ her activities being limited to technical level, and the perception that managers expect a professional educated in Pedagogy and Teaching Design. When it comes to the management team, dissatisfaction with OEA work is related to their lack of initiative and proactivity. Thus, we present the proposal of a intervention project of pedagogical education in distance education for IFB staff aiming to work in distance education. This education aims to support the perfecting of educational work in the multidisciplinary context in which it is inserted.
