| dc.description.abstract | Objectives / Skills: Increase recognition and expression of emotions and feelings, as well as self-esteem of participants. Being the basis of emotional intelligence, these competences are important to enhance the communication skills and capacity of interaction with others in the job market. Contents: 1. Intrapersonal skills of emotional intelligence: what are my main values; what is my passion and what it means to me. 2. Interpersonal skills of emotional intelligence: recognizing emotions in others Description of the methodological process: Part 1 - The first activity will start with a brief presentation of what are values. The participants will then choose among several cards with values written on them, the ones that they feel are more important to them. Next, there will be a brief talk about the importance of knowing our passion and the participants will draw or paint a picture of their passion and stick the card values on it. Part 2 – The second activity will start by showing the participants faces with the basic emotions with the name of the emotion below. Then in groups, they will have several photos and will have to say which emotion or feeling the person in the photo is experiencing. The activity will end by asking the participants what they are feeling now and choose a card colour that will match the emotion/feeling. | pt_PT |
