Abstract(s)
A investigação aqui apresentada consiste num estudo de caso com o intuito de
verificar o que condiciona o uso dos recursos educativos digitais pelos professores de
Ciências Naturais nos agrupamentos de escolas da cidade de Santarém, com o objetivo de
compreender melhor o nível de competência digital dos professores, perceber que tipo de
Recursos Educativos Digitais (RED) são usados pelos professores, se a curadoria do
conteúdo digital é feita de forma responsável, se a aula está centrada no professor ou no
aluno, se os RED são usados para inovar a prática pedagógica de forma colaborativa e
perceber o que pensam os alunos sobre o uso dos RED na prática pedagógica.
Os resultados obtidos mostraram que os professores utilizam Recursos Educativos
Digitais, mas maioritariamente como material de apoio não como um recurso interativo.
Quando são usados recursos educativos digitais, estes não alteram significativamente a
estratégia pedagógica dos professores. Os dados revelam que é escasso o conhecimento dos
professores sobre recursos educativos existentes e disponíveis e que são ainda significativas
as necessidades de formação neste domínio. O estudo permitiu ainda identificar fatores que
os professores levam em consideração durante os processos de utilização dos seus recursos
e apresenta algumas evidências acerca das dificuldades sentidas pelos professores enquanto
utilizadores de RED, nomeadamente as dificuldades organizacionais, pedagógicas
relacionadas com a falta de formação específica e algumas dificuldades técnicas.
The research presented here consists of a case study with the purpose of verifying what conditions the use of Digital Educational Resources (DER) by Natural Sciences teachers in school clusters in the city of Santarém, in order to better understand the level of digital competence of teachers, understand what kind of DER are used by teachers, if the curation of digital content is done responsibly, if the lesson is teacher or student centered, if the DER are used to innovate pedagogical practice in a collaborative way and understand what the students of these teachers think about the use of DER in pedagogical practice. The results showed that teachers use Digital Educational Resources, but mostly as support material, not as an interactive resource. When digital educational resources are used, they do not significantly change the teachers' pedagogical strategy. The data show that teachers' knowledge about existing and available learning resources is scarce, and that there are still significant training needs in this area. The study also allowed us to identify factors that teachers take into consideration during the processes of using their resources and presents some evidence about the difficulties experienced by teachers as users of DER, namely organizational difficulties, pedagogical difficulties related to the lack of specific training and some technical difficulties.
