Abstract(s)
A segunda parte contempla a componente investigativa.
This final report comes within the scope of the Master in Teaching of the 1st Cycle and in Portuguese and History and Geography of the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education (CEB) of the Escola Superior de Educação de Santarém, consisting of two parts. With regard to the first part, an analysis and reflection of the path taken in the supervised teaching practices in the 1st and 2nd CEB is presented. The second part includes the investigative component. This investigation aimed to identify difficulties in cursive writing, detectable by megalography, spatial inconstancy, substitutions or imprecision of lines, inversions, exchanges or absences in the 1st and 4th year of schooling. We intend to apply and evaluate the effect of a motor stimulation program on children with problems in learning cursive writing. The data were collected, based on a pre-test and a post-test for a total of 120 children from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of schooling. The experimental group included 9 children from the 1st and 4th year, paired with a control group, by age, gender and room. The intervention sessions demonstrated that the experimental group benefited from the intervention in terms of reducing space, letter height and time, approaching the control group, and surpassing it in certain parameters.
