Abstract(s)

A sexualidade relacionada com a amamentação é uma temática complexa e pouco desenvolvida que implica um aprofundamento na investigação de modo a retratar a evidência científica de suporte ao desenvolvimento de intervenções de enfermagem de saúde materna, obstétrica e ginecológica, adequadas e individualizadas para cada situação específica, tendo o casal como alvo e a adaptação do mesmo como foco da prática. Neste sentido, através de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, pretendeu-se compreender o significado da sexualidade no casal durante a amamentação. Para desenvolver a Prática Baseada na Evidência foi formulada uma pergunta PI[C]O: Qual a intervenção do enfermeiro (I), com o casal durante a amamentação (P), para melhorar a sua vivência da sexualidade (O). Foram definidos alguns conceitos ou palavras-chave e realizada uma pesquisa de artigos científicos na EBSCOhost (no período entre 2008 e 2013), sendo selecionados quatro estudos, segundo critérios previamente definidos e centralizados na problemática em estudo. A evidência demonstra existir uma relação de influência da amamentação na vivência da sexualidade do casal e que a perspetiva de intervenção do enfermeiro tem de considerar os fatores culturais, sociais, físicos, psicológicos e ambientais, onde o casal se insere. É fulcral existir um maior investimento dos profissionais com os casais no sentido de promover uma vivência gratificante da sexualidade. ABSTRACT Sexuality related to breastfeeding is a complex theme and undeveloped that implies a deeper investigation in order to portray the scientific evidence supporting the development of maternal, obstetric and gynecological nursing interventions, appropriate and individualized for each specific situation, having the couple as a target and the adaptation of the same as focus of practice. In this sense, through a systematic review of the literature, the aim is to understand the meaning of sexuality in couples during breastfeeding. To develop Evidence Based Practice was formulated a question PI[C]O: What is the nurses' intervention (I), with the couple during breastfeeding (P), to improve their experience of sexuality (O). Were defined some concepts or keywords and conducted a search of scientific articles in EBSCOhost (between 2008 and 2013), four studies were selected according to predefined criteria and centered on the problem under study. Evidence shows there is a relationship of influence of breastfeeding on the couple's experience of sexuality and the prospect of intervention by the nurse must consider the cultural, social, physical, psychological and environmental, where the couple falls. It is crucial there be greater investment professionals with couples in order to promote a rewarding experience of sexuality.
