Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º e 2.º Ciclos do Ensino Básico e reflete as etapas do caminho percorrido ao longo da nossa prática pedagógica, descrevendo as diversas aprendizagens adquiridas, assim como o estudo desenvolvido no decorrer deste percurso.
Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar se o ensino da gramática, através do estudo da morfologia das palavras, poderia ajudar alunos do 6.º ano de escolaridade a descodificar o significado de palavras, melhorar as suas capacidades de leitura e, consequentemente, alargar o seu capital lexical, utilizando como metodologia de trabalho a sequência didática.
Os resultados obtidos apontam para uma melhoria da consciência morfológica, no entanto não consideramos que esse desenvolvimento tenha contribuído diretamente para um alargamento do capital lexical dos alunos em estudo.
“To what extent does the development of morphological consciousness directly contribute to the growth of lexical capital?” This report was done under the Masters in 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education and reflects the stages of the path traveled throughout our teaching practice, describing the learning acquired, as well as the study developed during this course. This study aimed to verify if the teaching of grammar, through the study of the morphology of words, could help students of the 6th year of schooling to decode the meaning of words, improve their reading abilities and, consequently, extend their lexical capital, using as a working methodology the didactic sequence. The results obtained point to an improvement in morphological awareness, however, we do not consider that this development directly contributed to a widening of the lexical capital of the students under study.
