A situação do bullying nas escolas portuguesas

| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo apresenta uma revisão da literatura e dos dados oficiais referentes ao bullying em contexto escolar em Portugal. Pretendeu-se analisar este fenómeno de acordo com o Modelo da Pirâmide de Lavergne e Tourigny (2000), destacando as diferenças conceptuais e metodológicas entre as diversas formas de recolha de dados sobre as situações de bullying. A revisão encontrou estatísticas oficiais desde 2001, 16 artigos científicos, 3 livros académicos, 2 capítulos de livro, 6 trabalhos apresentados em eventos científicos, 3 relatórios publicados e 1 relatório não publicados. Os resultados suportam a aplicabilidade do modelo da pirâmide. São ainda discutidos os dados disponíveis sobre o bullying dirigido a crianças e jovens de grupos minoritários. Conclui-se com uma reflexão sobre possíveis implicações para a investigação e intervenção ao nível político, comunitário, escolar, familiar e individual. - The present article presents a review of the literature and official data regarding bullying in the school context in Portugal. We aimed to analyse this phenomenon in light of the Piradime Model by Lavergne and Tourigny (2000), emphasizing the conceptual and methodological differences among the studies in data collection on bullying situations. The review found official statistics since 2001, 16 scientific articles, 3 book manuals, 2 book chapters, 6 papers presented on conferences, 3 publish reports and 1 non-published report. The results support the applicability of the Pyramid Model. Available data on bullying directed toward minority children and youth are also discussed. Implications and reflections on future research and intervention (at political, community, school, family and individual levels) are suggested. | por |
