| dc.description.abstract | Cativar o interesse dos alunos para as ciências requer, por parte dos professores, a adoção de novas ferramentas de ensino, assim como uma nova visão sobre o tipo de cultura de sala de aula que necessitam alimentar. Neste cenário, os blogues constituem uma ferramenta tecnológica que oferece boas oportunidades para se alcançar esta meta. No presente estudo, foram construídos e dinamizados diversos blogues com vista à discussão de questões sócio-científicas e sócio-ambientais atuais. Apesar das potencialidades atribuídas à sua utilização em contexto educativo, importa conhecer formas de potenciar as suas vantagens na formação de literacia científica dos alunos e superar as dificuldades ou obstáculos que se possam colocar para a sua plena exploração. O presente estudo, de natureza qualitativa, teve como principal objetivo identificar potencialidades e dificuldades que se colocam à implementação de atividades de discussão com recurso a blogues. Os participantes foram alunos do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Básica a frequentar uma Unidade Curricular de Ambiente. Os dados foram recolhidos através da aplicação de um questionário de avaliação da atividade de discussão realizada e recorreu-se, também, a entrevistas destinadas a alguns dos alunos participantes no estudo. Para além da atividade de discussão ter contribuído para contactar com diversas problemáticas ambientais, verificou-se um crescimento dos alunos relativamente à autonomia, à gestão dos prazos e à responsabilidade. Destaca-se ainda a aprendizagem realizada na construção e dinamização de blogues bem como o desenvolvimento de competências relacionadas com o trabalho online. As limitações identificadas poderão ser superadas com alguns ajustamentos na atividade de discussão, tais como, o professor disponibilizar algumas sessões presenciais para acompanhar presencialmente os grupos de trabalho e realizar a atividade logo no início do semestre. - In order to attract the students’ interest for the sciences, the teachers have to adopt new teaching tools, as well as a new insight about the type of culture of the classroom that they need to improve. In this scenario, blogs are a technological tool that offers good opportunities to achieve this goal. In the present study, many blogs were built and streamlined in order to discuss current socio-scientific and socio-environmental issues. Despite the potentiality attributed to their use in an educational context, it is important to know ways to leverage its advantages in the formation of scientific literacy of students and to overcome difficulties or obstacles that may appear, so that fully exploration can happen. This study, qualitative in its nature, aimed to identify strengths and difficulties that the implementation of discussion activities with the use of blogs, have to face. The participants were students of the degree in Elementary Education that attend the Curricular Unit of Environment. Data was collected through an evaluation questionnaire about the discussion activity that was done, as well as the use of interviews destined to some of the students that participated in the study. In addition to the discussion activity that contributed to contact with various environmental issues, there was a growth of students in relation to autonomy, time management and responsibility. Another highlight is the learning done in the construction and promotion of blogs and the development of skills related to the work online. The identified limitations can be overcome with some adjustments in the discussion activity, such as, the teacher can provide some attendance sessions in order to monitor in person the group tasks and do the activity right at the beginning of the semester. | por |
