O estudo decorreu na Escola Superior Agrária de Santarém com localização na Quinta
do Galinheiro – São Pedro, em Santarém.
Teve por objetivo acompanhar a conversão da Mata Mediterrânica (predomínio dos
estratos arbóreo e arbustivo) em Montado, um sistema agro-silvo-pastoril.
Realizou-se uma análise sumária do solo. Procedeu-se ao melhoramento das
pastagens. Determinou-se a composição florística pelo Método Levy-Point-Quadrat.
Procedeu-se e discutiu-se a avaliação dos estratos arbóreo, arbustivo e herbáceo e à
determinação da produção quantitativa da pastagem.
The study elapsed in the Agrarian Superior School of Santarém with localization in Quinta do Galinheiro - São Pedro, in Santarém. It had for objective to follow Mediterranica Bush (prevalence of shrubs) conversion in Montado, an agro-silvo-pastoral system. A summary analysis of the soil was become fulfilled. It was proceeded the improvement from the pastures. It was determined the composition of plant species for the Levy-Point-Quadrat Method. It was become fulfilled evaluation of the 3 components: trees, shrubs and pastures and the determination of the quantitative production of the pasture.
