Este relatório surge no âmbito do estágio para a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Treino
Desportivo, na Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior, realizado na equipa de natação
Sénior/Júnior do Sporting Clube de Portugal. Na primeira parte do relatório será descrito o
acompanhamento do treino e das competições. Na segunda parte, será apresentado o estudo caso
do estágio que consistiu na análise da prova da final dos 200 metros estilos do AS nos Campeonatos
da Europa de Piscina Longa, em Londres 2016 e da comparação com a média dos tempos da final da
prova dos 200m metros estilos nos Jogos Olímpicos do Rio de Janeiro de 2016, na tentativa de
perceber onde poderá haver margem de progressão.
This report comes as part of the internship to obtain a Master's degree in Sports Training at the Superior School of Sports of Rio Maior, held in the Senior / Junior swimming team of Sporting Clube de Portugal. The first part of the report will describe the monitoring of training and competitions. In the second part will be presented the case study of the stage which consisted of the analysis of the test of the final of the 200 meters styles of AS in the European championships of long pool in London 2016 and the comparison with the average of the times of the final of the test of 200m meters Styles in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016, in an attempt to understand where there may be room for progression.
