| dc.description.abstract | Resumo Este estudo teve como principal objetivo analisar a correlação entre os tipos de paixão (harmoniosa e obsessiva) que os indivíduos sentem pela modalidade e o bem-estar subjetivo (satisfação com a vida e afetos). Participaram neste estudo 68 indivíduos (n=68), de ambos os géneros (53 masculinos, 15 femininos), com mais de 16 anos de idade cronológica, dos quais 39 eram atletas com deficiência motora e 29 atletas com paralisia cerebral. Todos são atletas com participações em competições de carácter nacional, internacional (europeu e mundial) e paralímpico e, praticantes das modalidades de natação, boccia, futebol, orientação de precisão, tricicleta, equitação, atletismo e ciclismo. Como instrumentos de medida, foram utilizados as versões portuguesas da Passion Scale (PS: Vallerand et al., 2003), Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS: Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985) e do Positive and Negative Schedule (PANAS: Watson, Clark, & Tellegen, 1988). Os resultados mostram que se verificou a existência de uma correlação positiva e significativa entre a Paixão Harmoniosa e os Afetos Positivos (r= 0,459; p= 0,001) e também entre a Paixão Obsessiva e os Afetos Positivos (r= 0,417; p= 0,001), o que pode ser explicado pela elevada relação positiva que existente entre os dois tipos de paixão (r= 0,225; p= 0,000). Em relação aos valores do r de Pearson para as correlações da variável da Satisfação com a Vida com os Afetos, como seria de prever, existe uma correlação positiva e significativa com os Afetos Positivos (r= 0,264; p=0,05) e negativa com a variável dos Afetos Negativos (r= -0,138; p=0,000). | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract The main objective of this research is to analyze the correlation between the types of passion (harmonious and obsessive) that athletes feel for the sport and the subjective well-being (life satisfaction and affects). The sample consisted of 68 athletes (n=68), of both genders (53 male and 15 female) with over 16 years of chronological age, of which 39 were athletes with physical disabilities and 29 athletes with cerebral palsy. All the sample are athletes with interests in national competitions, international (European and world championships) and Paralympic and practitioners of swimming modes, boccia, football, trail-O, tricycle, equestrian, athletics and cycling. As measuring instruments, there were used the Portuguese versions of the Passion Scale (PS: Vallerand et al., 2003), Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS: Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985) and the Positive and Negative Schedule (PANAS: Watson, Clark, & Tellegen, 1988). The main results showed a positive and significant correlation between the Harmonious Passion and Affect Positive (r = 0.459; p = 0.001) and also between the Obsessive Passion and Affect Positive (r = 0.417; p = 0.001) , which can be justified by the high positive relationship between the two types of passion (r = 0.225; p = 0.000).
