dc.description.abstractO desenvolvimento de expetativas face a eventos de transição, como o parto/trabalho de parto depende de cada pessoa e vai favorecer a preparação física e mental para o momento do nascimento. O Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica deve conhecer e discutir com mulher/casal as expetativas e o seu plano de parto, a fim de os envolver na tomada de decisão sobre a sua saúde. Neste sentido, foi desenvolvida uma ‘scoping review’ com o objetivo de desocultar a evidência disponível sobre de que forma as expetativas da mulher/casal influenciam a vivência do parto/trabalho de parto, da qual se obteve três artigos. Através da evidência científica norteamos, a nossa prática, com base na teoria das transições de Afaf Meleis, reconhecendo-se que o Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica deve prestar cuidados centrados na mulher/casal com foco nas suas expetativas, salvaguardando o bem-estar materno e fetal.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe development of expectations in the face of transitional events, such as childbirth/labor depends on each person and will favor physical and mental preparation for the moment of birth. The Midwife must know and discuss with the woman/couple the expectations and their birth plan, in order to involve them in decision-making about their health. In this sense, a 'scoping review' was developed with the aim of revealing the available evidence on how the expectations of the woman/couple influence the experience of childbirth/labor, from which three articles were obtained. Through scientific evidence, we guide our practice, based on Afaf Meleis's theory of transitions, recognizing that the Midwife must provide care centered on the woman/couple with a focus on their expectations, safeguarding the maternal and fetal well-being.pt_PT
