Abstract(s)
The first part concerns the realization of the internship, evaluating its context, defining objectives for the intern, presenting contents and strategies for professional intervention, evaluating the control of the internship process, taking stock of the intern’s tasks, thus reflecting on his internship process. These tasks included filming the team’s games and training sessions, coding the games relating to the opponents, by the elaboration of video compacts in relation to the opposing team, by the individual and collective analysis of the opposing team and by the statistical analysis of the offensive and defensive tactical schemes, the shooting opportunities achieved and conceded, and the goals scored and conceded. In addition to this, also the task of assisting in the training process. All these tasks allowed for personal and professional development in an elite context, especially in game observation and analysis. The second part provides a framework for the research study carried out during the internship. In the process of investigating these studies, the aim was to establish contacts with analyst coaches, with the aim of analyzing the different moments of observation ana analysis of the football match (focusing mainly on the “before” moment, that is, the planning of the analyst coach’s microcycle), and understanding how this analysis influences the weekly microcycle of match preparation. The results showed that, in all the dimension covered throughout the study, the area of observation and analysis in seen as important in all these three contexts (1st League, 2nd League and 3rd League). However, it was possible to conclude that for some parameters, there are not the same procedures, depending on what is wanted for a particular player, team, among others, and even form some types of more secondary analysis, although they are considered important, the lack of human resources in some clubs means that certain analyses are not carried out as often, or are carried out in a more general way and as in-depth ad intended.
