Abstract(s)
A presente investigação tem como objetivo analisar o impacto da diversidade de género nos órgãos de gestão na performance dos centros hospitalares EPE do Serviço Nacional de Saúde.
Os resultados da investigação indicam que a presença de mulheres nos órgãos de gestão dos centros hospitalares EPE não tem impacto significativo na sua performance.
Adicionalmente, constata-se que a dimensão do Conselho de Administração, do Conselho Fiscal e dos centros hospitalares EPE afeta positiva e significativamente a performance destas organizações.
A escassez de estudos sobre o impacto da diversidade de género na performance dos Centros Hospitalares EPE, destaca a contribuição significativa deste trabalho para a investigação.
The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of gender diversity in management bodies on the performance of EPE hospital centers from the National Health Service. The research results indicate that the presence of women in the management bodies of EPE hospital centers does not significantly impact their performance. Additionally, it is noted that the size of the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board, and the EPE hospital centers positively and significantly affects the performance of these organizations. The scarcity of studies on the impact of gender diversity on the performance of EPE Hospital Centers highlights the significant contribution of this study to research.
