The slopping in the vineyard is used as an alternative to the mobilization of soils, which is a way to prevent against weeds, and gives multiple vantages to the vineyard, as the improvement of soils with impact in productivity and transitability. The main objective in this work is to evaluate the installation of two tipes of pastures (REV 1 and REV 2) in the slopping of the vineyard. For such, the following methodologies were used: installation and caracterization of both mixtures in between rows of the vineyard placed in Escola Superior Agrária de Santarém; assessment of floristic composition of pasture; determination of DM of pasture by the grazing records. Based on the analysis of the results, it can be observed that legumes are more present in a seed mix (REV2) grasses were increased and weeds were decreased. These results may be related to an excessive stocking rate, a severe cut of the pasture, with the morphology of the plants and the competition between plants, with a negative impact in pasture installation.
