Abstract(s)

The standard molar enthalpy of formation of [Ti(ษณ5-C5H5)2 (OOCCH2NH3)2]Cl2 in the crystalline state, at T = 298.15 K, was determined as DfHom{[Ti(ษณ5-C5H5)2(OOCCH2NH3)2]Cl2, cr} = -(1447.6 ยฑ 8.1) kJ . mol-1, by reaction-solution calorimetry. A discussion of the energetics of the direct interaction of the antitumour agent Ti(ษณ5-C5H5)2Cl2 with glycine is also presented.
