O conhecimento explícito da língua: seu estatuto em manuais escolares portugueses do 1º ciclo do ensino básico

Este texto pretende constituir um momento de descrição e, simultaneamente, de reflexão sobre o papel do conhecimento explícito da língua no manual escolar, tendo como base os Novos Programas de Português para o Ensino Básico. Assim, e uma vez que o 1º ciclo é o início da aprendizagem formal, optámos por analisar um dos manuais escolares mais adotados, em Portugal, no 3º e 4º anos do 1º ciclo. Os resultados evidenciaram que não há conformidade entre esses textos reguladores da prática pedagógica e o Programa.
This article aims to create a moment to describe and reflect about explicit knowledge of language, having as a base the National Program of Portuguese Language. Having in mind that 1º cycle is the beginning of the formal learning, we decided to analyze one of the most adopted textbooks in Portugal – 3º and 4º year levels. Results show that there is no articulation between the Portuguese Language Program and the normative texts for the pedagogical practices in the way that the Program points in one direction and the manuals in another.
