O tema deste trabalho resultou da investigação nos manuais escolares de 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (1.º CEB), sobre a importância que é dada a cada uma das tipologias textuais. Ao longo do trabalho procurou-se demonstrar a importância que é atribuída nos manuais escolares de Português, com os quais se trabalhou em contexto de estágio, ao texto de tipo instrucional. Uma vez que integramos uma sociedade onde nos deparamos muitas vezes com instruções para nos orientar no nosso dia a dia (horários de transportes, indicações, manuais de instruções, receitas, entre outros), considerei fundamental debruçar-me sobre esta tipologia textual em particular. O que verifiquei é que nos manuais este tipo de texto tem uma representação diminuta.
Sublinha-se, também, a importância da leitura, na medida em que é fundamental que as crianças compreendam o que leem, pois como defende Solé (1987) “ler é compreender um texto, (…) interpretar o que diz um texto; descobrir-lhe significado”. Foco-me, igualmente, na importância das tipologias textuais, sabendo que “as características dos tipos ou géneros constituem indicadores importantes para a produção e para a interpretação dos textos” (Dicionário Terminológico). Para finalizar o tema de investigação, demonstro quais as vantagens de se trabalhar o texto de tipo instrucional com os alunos, uma vez que, tal como afirmei anteriormente, é um tipo de texto que faz parte do nosso quotidiano.
Esta investigação foi realizada, de forma indireta, com crianças em contexto de Jardim de Infância e com alunos de 4.º ano do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
The theme of this work was the investigation in the school textbooks of primary school on the importance that is given to each of the textual typologies. What I concluded in this investigation was that very little importance was attached to instructional type text. Once we integrate a society where we are often faced with instructions to guide us in our day-to-day (transport schedules, indications, instruction manuals, recipes, among others), I considered it fundamental to look at this particular textual typology. Throughout the work I try to demonstrate the importance that the school textbooks of Portuguese, with which I worked in the context of internship, attribute to the text of an instructional type. I will also speak about the importance of reading, because it is fundamental that children understand what they read, because as Solé (1987) argues: "reading is understanding a text, interpreting what a text says; discover his meaning ". I will also focus on the importance of textual typologies, because according to the Terminological Dictionary (DT), "the characteristics of types or genera are important indicators for the production and interpretation of texts." In order to finish the research topic, I will demonstrate the advantages of working with the instructional type with students, since, as I said earlier, it is a type of text that is part of our daily lives. This investigation was carried out, indirectly, with children in the context of Kindergarten and with students of the 4th year of the primary school.
