Teve por objetivo acompanhar a conversão da Mata Mediterrânica (predomínio dos estratos arbóreo e arbustivo) em Montado, um sistema agro-silvo-pastoril. Realizou-se uma análise sumária do solo. Procedeu-se ao melhoramento das pastagens. Determinou-se a composição florística pelo Método Levy-Point-Quadrat. Procedeu-se e discutiu-se a avaliação dos estratos arbóreo, arbustivo e herbáceo e à determinação da produção quantitativa da pastagem.The study elapsed in the Agrarian Superior School of Santarém with localization in Quinta do Galinheiro - São Pedro, in Santarém.
